Cognition Problem of Haryana Police

Zee News - Police kill student mistaking him for criminal

Mere Reporting of the Crime was never the aim of this blog. However, it was co incidence that when this blog was started, Haryana police came in a news for a faulty investigation. It was made the part of the part of this blog against the very policy of the blog with some remarks of restrain and caution. After that, the Haryana Police acts became an hindrance in a manner because there were many reports which prompted me to include them on this policy against the very motive and policy of this blog which was to record only such reports which are work of investigation by some leading investigation agency like CBI, IB, RAW or Drug Controller.

However, the link given here is another report which has crept into this blog only because of the startling nature of the activity of one state police. It is not that it is true for Haryana police. However, such acts, which are carried out in name of investigation or controlling of crime but ends in drastic results, are to be condemned and stopped. The guilty, here, those donning the colonial uniform, should be punished for homicide and undertaking semi-holocaust, the way, the Nazis were treated by the Western World.

Major Blasts in India as remembered by Reuters

CHRONOLOGY - Major attacks in India since 2003 | Top News | Reuters

The typical thing about this report is that it begins with the term that "some of the major blasts". It suggests that there is a category of blasts which had been maintained by the news agency and in light of the Assam blast it has found the list published as more relevant. Surprising?

Crime of Computer Literates with Credit Cards

The Hindu News Update Service

The plastic money is in thing. It means for economic sense also regardless of how it is being treated in India. In India the Credit Card companies themselves are committing such acts which may be treated as 'breach of faith' and 'criminal exploitation' against which the Honourable courts have already passed an injuction wherein they are made to charge less than 30% a year. Any how, the above report is fraud with credit cards which had taken place in Europe and executed in Asia. Coincidentally, here is the operative was an NRI.

Dismal Report on an Investigating Agency

An article in The Tehelka on R&AW has appeared as a special report in the issue Vol 5, Issue 43, Saturday 1, November 2008. It is highly damaging to the confidence of the citizens of the country if the report given in the article is true. The magazine can not be accused of demoralizing article. It is a reality which they have reported as a part of their duty. The R&AW department has remained in news in recent times for all the wrong reasons. It is, I believe, the fortune of the wing as it is to be called, that general public do not have any perception about the existence and activities of this wing. But, the reputation which it has built by recent news reports is such that no organization could cherish such an image.

There are many issues and aspects taken up in the article in the The Tehelka. One issue which attracted the attention of this blogger was the report that there is more detail available on Wikipedia than what is being denied through RTI. On a simple search on RAW, the assertion proved to be perfectly true. There is not only such information which could be called sensitive and detailed and exclusive, but there are enough references to show that they can be taken as authenticated.

The Wikipedia article on R&AW gives a good and comprehensive detail on the intelligence wing. The range and dimensions of the activities of R&AW as covered in the article is really amazing. No doubt, that the article in the Tehelka has not wrongly identified that the Wikipedia article is replete with more deeper information than what is being denied under RTI as may have been tried by the investigator of the magazine and Major General V K Singh. It seems that it is a true case. The use of aircrafts, the area of operations are such information which, I can imagine could have been denied in RTI but they are available there.

In the discussion section, one can locate that how the name of the R&AW was empahsised over and above the acronym RAW. It is surprising to see that in the Indian Media, one generally comes across the term RAW instead of R&AW. In the article of Wikipedia, the editors are very particular that R&AW is used in the titles of every section. Even the article in the Tehleka has used the title “RAW and Rudderless” and no where in the body of the article, the magazine has cared to use R&AW.

If the general public or any reader, who has read this post upto this point, does not find interest in it then he or she may try to remember the sexual harassment case of R&AW officer Nisha Bhatia before the office of PM. I am sure that it will raise the interest of the reader. Now when the country is over occupied with the stories about the MNS versus Biharis, and Bomb blasts, it may not interest them. However, if they just ask one question, that if the Bomb blasts continue to take place in the country and every time the link is either directed to Bangladesh or Pakistan then why do the country intelligence not put a check on them? If it interests the reader then, I take the privilege to continue to tell that this article directed my path on some research over internet. I have come across some of the exclusive posts and blogs on this aspect that it really becomes a web mole activity. Instead of giving my own version, I suggest that one should use http://www.images.google.com/ with the search term Ashok Chaturvedi, Nisha Bhatia, V. K. Sood, R. N. Kao and then some general search on Wikipedia on MI5, CIA, Mossad, ISI and finally same terms on Blogsearch.google.com. One may try technorati also. One has to show some patience then I assure you that you will enjoy working as a cyber Sherlock Holmes.

On the whole the result of the searches and the article of Tehelka are really disheartening.

It is a reposting an article under the title Cyber Sherlock Holmes on R&AW on Cyber Mole

Crime Detection: A Mockery that can be played with Impunity

Back from the 'dead',missing techie surfaces after 3 months

What actually is the crime detection and reporting?

A DIG level officers lustily tells that how a criminal minded father took whiskey and then killed her daughter.

The Media creates so much commotion when crime goes undetected. Every TV Channel has a Crime related every day feature which it itself publicise.

However, now comes this report that how Meghna Subedar has come alive. When Her father showed doubt no body cared to listen him. Now, she is back. Even She has to do lot of explanation.

In any case, Crime detection and investigation are not being treated rightly. Now, this scientific reporting has further crippled it. The police officers now behave like half back MBBS who do not look at the patient but at the test reports and then shout at the peek of their ability that they are scientific.

Sordid Act of Vigilance Police

Haryana vigilance bureau victimizes 17-yr-old boy-Chandigarh-Cities-The Times of India

It is a sordid story of an investigating agency which has committed an act of extreme trampling of human rights.

It is about the proceedings and investigations of a different kind.

Before, I could fully write down the policy of this blog, I am made to widen the scope of this blog by this very report.

It is a story of a son of Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner who had investigated a theft of excise by businessman. The Vigilance Department undertook its own investigation of a crime which it dreamed of because it is a story of crime of vendetta.

Motive and Policy of Writing

Try to read the following list.
Shivani Bhatnagar Ravi Kant Sharma Case
Manu Sharma Jessica Lall Case
BMW Nanda Case
Bofors Case
ACP Killing Case
Monika Case
Monika Sports Women Case
Arushi Hemraj Case
Chara Case
Upkaar Cinema Case
Judges Bribery Case
Judges Lawyers Bribery Case
Theft of Noble Prize of Tagore Case

The list can be long. All such cases have virtually gripped the mind space of a common man at one stage or the other. It has shattered the sense of security and faith of a common member of a society. They are not mere reports of an accident which had happened. If the Arushi Hemraj Case involved the gruesome murder then Judges bribery case was a crime wherein no blood was spilled. They were not news of one day. They are not mere accidents which reported that two motorized vehicle collided and caused causalities.

The public has demanded resolution of such crimes. The crime was not investigated by some ASI or Inspectors. The investigations of such crimes were entrusted to well reputed organization headed by best brains of the country. There were agencies like CBI, Vigilance Bureaus, Commission headed by best legal brains and specialized bodies. Even when the investigations were subjected to judicial reviews, it demanded from the Judiciary to demonstrated the actual meaning of jurisprudence in action.
